Day 0 : Arrive for Check-In/Reception, Orientation and Welcome Meal – North Hampton/Seabrook, NH

Day 0 marks the beginning of an extraordinary experience. We’ll meet up in North Hampton, NH, where excitement fills the air. Brace yourself for check-in, orientation, and a group meal that will set the tone for the adventure ahead. As we start getting to know each other, anticipation will reach its peak, and the camaraderie among us will ignite the spirit of togetherness and adventure!

Overnight in Seabrook, NH

Day 1: Seabrook, New Hampshire to Rockland, Maine

5.5 hours (seat time), 195 miles

As the sun rises on Day 1, we’ll find ourselves in Seabrook, NH, ready to embark on an unforgettable venture into the enchanting land of Maine, where numerous lighthouses await our arrival. An overnight stay in Rockland, ME will offer us a chance to soak in the beauty of the surroundings and revel in the magic of our coastal journey!

EXPERIENCE:
On Day 1, we will see 7 different lighthouses, including “The Most Photographed Lighthouse in the World”!
(LUNCH STOP) Fort Williams Park, Cape Elizabeth, ME
Overnight in Rockland, ME

Day 2 : Rockland to Machias, Maine

5.5 hours (seat time), 219 miles

Day 2 takes us into Downeast Maine. More lighthouse gems will grace our path along the rugged shores and through charming coastal towns, stopping at Penobscot Narrows Bridge and riding through Acadia National Park. Enjoy a ride filled with ocean views, historic sites, and opportunities to explore local culture. Today offers the perfect blend of adventure and discovery.

EXPERIENCE:
On Day 2, we view just 2 lighthouses, but get to see coastal Maine up close and personal.

Overnight in Machias, ME

Day 3: Machias to Boothbay Harbor, Maine

6 hours (seat time), 235 miles

Day 3 unveils more of the true essence of Maine’s rocky coast, as we witness firsthand the ingenuity and Yankee Spirit that went into placing and constructing these magnificent New England lighthouses. Highlights of the day are West Quoddy Head Light, positioned at the Easternmost point in the United States, and Mulholland Point Lighthouse in Canada, viewed from Lubec, ME. It appears so close that you could just reach out touch it.

Our final night will be a celebration of the memories made, filled with laughter, stories, and a farewell meal that honors the bonds we’ve formed and the extraordinary adventures we’ve shared.

Day 4 : Ellsworth/Boothbay Harbor to Hampton, NH

Having immersed ourselves in the charm of numerous iconic New England towns and villages, we’ll continue our journey, heading back west and south along the Maine Coast. Our final day will show us more of the unique and hearty maritime icons that have kept sailors and fishermen safe during all of New England’s wildly individual seasons.
